Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Gatsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen Get Low as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joe Gatsby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Gatsby! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Griffin! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin throws a big shot that misses. A punch lands to the side of Gatsby 's head but he takes it in his stride. Griffin misses with a series of wild punches.
Griffin jabs Gatsby to the body, keeping him at a distance. Griffin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gatsby. Horrible takedown attempt by Gatsby or perhaps it was just good defense by Griffin, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gatsby takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gatsby manages to avoid it. Gatsby is looking to counter the offense by Griffin and move into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gatsby misses with an uppercut. Gatsby staying out of range there. Gatsby walks into a stiff left hand from Griffin.
It looks like Joe Gatsby has been cut. Gatsby lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gatsby misses the shot to the body. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Griffin! But no joy. Good shot there by Gatsby. Griffin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Griffin throws a hook but Gatsby avoids it easily. Griffin moves away from the strike by Gatsby. Gatsby looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gatsby tries for a takedown but Griffin circles away easily and Griffin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Griffin throws out a powerful jab. Gatsby will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gatsby misses with a left hand and Gatsby takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Griffin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Griffin misses with a hook. Gatsby attempts a counter takedown but Griffin avoids it well and moves away. Gatsby takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Griffin checks a low kick from Gatsby. Gatsby swings for the body but Griffin moves out of range.
Griffin throws an overhand right that lands on Gatsby's shoulder, as Gatsby tries to avoid the shot. Griffin lands a left and a right that send Gatsby crashing to the mat, dazed. Griffin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gatsby is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gatsby throws a low kick, looking for Griffin's leg but Griffin calmly moves out of range. Oh Gatsby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gatsby throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Peter Griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Griffin drops Gatsby with a huge uppercut! Gatsby drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Griffin is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Griffin! Peter Griffin retains his lightweight title! Peter Griffin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
