The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by I Can - just one landing.
It looks like Jake Lovejoy has been cut.
Lovejoy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from I Can.
I Can blocks a head kick by Lovejoy.
I Can shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lovejoy sprawls well. Lovejoy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. I Can gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lovejoy misses with an attempted mid kick.
I Can uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lovejoy has time to react.

I Can finds Lovejoy's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lovejoy flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. I Can lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lovejoy will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Because I Can!
