Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evgenii Mamchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armen Petrosyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgenii Mamchenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Armen Petrosyan! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Mamchenko throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mamchenko feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Petrosyans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Armen Petrosyan has been cut. Petrosyan is looking to clinch but Mamchenko is avoiding it.
Mamchenko appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A combination from Petrosyan does no damage. Mamchenko shoots in but no luck this time. Mamchenko scores with a punch to the head. Petrosyan instigates a clinch. Mamchenko gets a trip takedown into half guard. Petrosyan tries to kick Mamchenko off but Mamchenko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Petrosyan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Petrosyan is in trouble now - Mamchenko has advanced to mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petrosyan really wants to buck Mamchenko off and get back to his feet. Mamchenko looking to secure an arm triangle but Petrosyan defends it well. Petrosyan is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrosyan is squirming around, avoiding Mamchenko's attempts to control the action. Petrosyan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Mamchenko with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mamchenko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Petrosyan blocking the ground and pound. Petrosyan is trying to stand. Mamchenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mamchenko working for a guillotine from mount but Petrosyan is in no mood to give up. Petrosyan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mamchenko punching from mount but Petrosyan doing a good job of avoiding damage. Petrosyan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mamchenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mamchenko lands a nice shot to the head. Mamchenko controlling his opponent. Mamchenko looking to control but Petrosyan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Petrosyan bucks up and throws Mamchenko to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Mamchenko closes the distance and lands a one-two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd cheers as Mamchenko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Petrosyan doesn't seem phased though. Mamchenko cracks Petrosyan with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Petrosyan falls to his knees and Mamchenko doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evgenii Mamchenko! Evgenii Mamchenko decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
