Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Aube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murad Efendi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pascal Aube!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Murad Efendi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Efendi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Aube throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Aube has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Montreal in the buildup to the fight.
Aube fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Efendi stuffs the takedown.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pascal Aube. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Efendi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
It looks like Efendi is going to stand back up.
Efendi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Efendi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Efendi stalling away here and it's allowed Aube to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Efendi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aube is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Efendi defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Efendi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Aube has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Efendi is looking to defend but Aube has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Efendi! Aube pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Efendi taps out and this one is all over!
