Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Clash - Bank Robber. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Baum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Quid! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quid. Baum cracks Quid with a good jab. Baum misses with a series of wild punches.
Quid fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Baum gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Quid closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baum circles away. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Quid.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quid shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baum but Baum pushes him off and we're back to square one. Quid throws the left hand but Baum avoids the punch easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Baum. Quid looks for a takedown but Baum sprawls well. Baum fails with the takedown. Baum instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quid tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baum just stands there and leans against the cage. Quid can't break the clinch.
Baum goes for a takedown attempt but Quid pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Quid shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Baum makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Quid throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Baum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quid. Quid misses with a combination
and Baum counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baum wants to control but Quid is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Quid manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Quid working a defensive guard here.
Quid manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baum manages to get himself to full guard.
Baum is breathing heavily. Quid trying to control but Baum is working from the bottom. Quid wants to pass the guard but Baum is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Quid slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Baum is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Quid pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baum is keeping the position for now. Baum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quid is one step ahead there. Quid throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Baum dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Quid misses with a double jab
and Baum counters with a takedown into side control. Quid is looking to regain half guard here but Baum keeps moving and retains side control. Quid wants to control but Baum postures up. Baum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quid on the ground. Baum looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Quid is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Baum's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Quid actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quid moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Quid is trying to control the position but Baum postures up. Quid wants to sweep here but Baum controlling him for the moment. Quid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Baum's guard. Quid sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baum's guard. Quid wants to free his trapped foot but Baum is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baum is looking to control Quid's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baum avoid being mounted? Quid uses his free foot to push down on Baum's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Baum. Baum is in a horrible position here. Quid smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Quid looking for a guillotine from mount but Baum is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quid controlling from mount. Quid looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Quid content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quid is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Baum can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Quid is standing up, even though he is in mount. Baum fails in his attempt to clinch. Quid misses with a body kick. Baum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quid swivels and escapes. Quid will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Baum ducks under a wild hook from Quid. Baum looks to land a combination but Quid avoids it well. Quid scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Johnny Quid has got the better of the ground game so far. Quid seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baum does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Baum tries to get to full guard but Quid has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quid passes to full mount! "Ole!" shouts Baum as he jumps to the side. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Quid.

Baum gets caught flat footed, as Quid shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Quid trying to control the position from guard on top but Baum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quid preventing the sweep. Quid decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quid.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Baum swivels and escapes. Baum displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quid throws out the jab. Quid gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Baum counters by moving into the clinch. Baum keeps control of Quid as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Baum wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Quid tries for a takedown. No joy.
Baum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quid pulls his leg out and moves away.
Quid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Quid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baum tries to avoid it but Quid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baum to the ground. Baum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Quid clinches but Baum breaks the clinch and Baum decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quid's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Johnny Quid. I think Quid has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
