Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard has chosen Hockey Night In Canada as his entrance music. Bruce Banner has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Banner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maurice Richard! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richard pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A punch combination from Richard misses. Richard lands a jab to the nose. Banner slips a jab and a cross from Richard.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Richard!
Banner is rocked! Richard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Richard throws a nice inside leg kick. Richard gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Banner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Richard is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Banner dives into side control.
Banner advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Richard wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richard is trying to escape the mount but Banner keeps good control and instead manages to take Richard's back.
Banner is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Banner looking for the choke from the back. Banner is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richard is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Richard is trying to get back to his feet but Banner has full control of the position and if anything, Richard has just worked his way into a worse spot. Banner is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Bruce Banner just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Richard swinging wilding here.
Banner dodges the punch combination from Richard.
Richard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Banner misses with a two punch combination.
Richard throws a series of punches but Banner moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Banner doesn't manage to clinch there - Richard circles away.
Banner looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Richard wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Banner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Richard defends it well. Richard is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Banner will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Banner rushes Richard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Richard pushes Banner back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Banner tries to pull guard but Richard holds him up against the cage and eventually Banner drops back down to his feet.
Richard is looking to break free of the clinch but Banner has double underhooks. Richard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Banner shoots in but no luck this time. Jab from Richard. Richard throws a left and a right that both miss
and Banner counters with a nice double leg into guard. Banner sitting in guard here, content to control. Richard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Banner is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banner wants to pass the guard but Richard is keeping the position. Richard keeping moving, preventing Banner from controlling successfully. Richard pushes Banner off and scrambles back to his feet.
Richard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Banner ducks right into an uppercut from Richard. Jab by Richard. Banner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Richard swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Banner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Richard connects with a looping right hand.
Richard moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Richard misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Banner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Richard wants to stand up but Banner is controlling him. Banner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banner has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Richard is proving hard to escape from. Banner won't allow Richard to get back to his feet.

Banner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Richard is keeping the position for now. Banner stands up from guard. Let's bang! Maurice Richard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Richard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Banner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Banner. Banner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Banner dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Richard throws a combination that misses and Banner counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Well, if Banner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Bruce Banner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Banner wants to pass to mount but Richard is defending the position. Banner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richard is refusing to be controlled, as Banner sits in half guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Bruce Banner just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Richard throws a series of punches but Banner avoids them all with ease. Richard clobbers Banner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Richard throws a one two combo.
Banner takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Richard swings away with a leg kick that misses. Richard digs a good body shot into Banner's ribs. Banner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Banner controlling from side mount. Richard tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Richard is trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richard is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Banner.
Banner is looking for the choke from the back position but Richard is controlling his hands well. Richard staying busy and making it hard for Banner to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Richard holding both Banner 's hands and preventing any damage. Richard is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Maurice Richard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Banner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Banner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
