Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Dar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randall Dudley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafal Dar!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dar shoots in and bounces Dudley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dar tries to free his leg and advance position but Dudley is retaining full guard.
Dudley looking for a sweep. Not yet Dudley, not yet.
Dudley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dar manages to get himself to full guard.

Dudley stays in close to Dar's body and controls the position.
Dar is pulling down on Dudley's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dudley is aware though and is defending well.
Dudley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dudley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dudley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dudley's guard.

Dar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dudley is working away from the top position though.
Dudley is looking to take a break and control but Dar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dudley is on top in guard.

A close round but Rafal Dar will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dudley tries to counter with a takedown but Dar is quick to defend against it.
Dudley has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dudley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Dar is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Dar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dudley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rafal Dar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dudley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Dar tries to clinch but Dudley moves out of range.

Dar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dudley to the mat! Dudley manages to get full guard.

Dar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dudley napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dudley is on top in guard.

Dudley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well Dar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
