The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leafshard scores with a takedown into Acosta's guard.
Acosta is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Leafshard controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Leafshard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Acosta keeping moving, preventing Leafshard from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leafshard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leafshard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Acosta will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Leafshard stands and throws Acosta's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Acosta seems a little lost for a moment, as Leafshard dominates the positioning.
Leafshard is trying to get an arm triangle but Acosta is defending well.

Acosta is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leafshard off and has taken his back!

Leafshard rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Leafshard has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Leafshard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Acosta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leafshard on the ground.
Acosta has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Leafshard escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Leafshard!
Leafshard has hold of Acosta's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Acosta seems comfortable defending it but Leafshard has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Acosta is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Acosta is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leafshard couldn't care less - he's delighted!
