Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Demarcus James!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pollard.
Pollard is looking to counter punch.
Pollard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A head kick misses from James.
James looks to land a body kick but Pollard moved away.
As James tries to get set, Pollard tries to push him back and clinch up but James manages to avoid the attempt.
Pollard throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
James attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pollard avoids the head kick by James.
James throws a right hand that Pollard ducks under and follows up with a left that Pollard also avoids with ease.
Pollard throws an ugly left hook that misses
and James counters with a three punch combo that has Pollard backing up. Pollard nods at James to acknowledge the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pollard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pollard avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A right-left combo lands from James.
It looks like Teodoro Pollard has been cut.
Pollard throws a big shot that misses.
Pollard throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
Pollard throws a right and a left that both miss.
James throws a leg kick but Pollard checks it.
James throws a wild body kick that Pollard sees coming a mile off.
Pollard is looking for a counter combo.
James throws a push kick but Pollard slaps the foot to one side.
Pollard swings widly with a right hand
and James counters with a nice right hand that sends Pollard toppling to the canvas! Pollard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can James finish him?!
Pollard is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
James ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pollard's jaw. Pollard's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! James does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Demarcus James!
