Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chester Barcelona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kevin Rudolf - In the City. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chester Barcelona! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris fails with the takedown enabling Barcelona to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Frank Harris has been cut. Harris looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Barcelona looks to land a body kick but Harris moved away. Harris shoots in for a takedown but Barcelona shows good takedown defense. Barcelona lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Barcelona drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Barcelona looking to pass the guard. Harris being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barcelona looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barcelona gets to his feet. Harris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Harris fails in his attempt to clinch. Barcelona moves into range and clinches up with Harris. Barcelona has Harris pressed against the cage.
Barcelona lands a takedown into guard.
Harris being controlled here, momentarily. Barcelona stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harris being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barcelona has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Barcelona connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barcelona postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Barcelona is pushing down on Harris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harris is fighting to maintain full guard but Barcelona has managed to sneak the leg through. Harris looking for submissions off his back. Harris is in trouble now - Barcelona has advanced to mount! Barcelona working away from the top, dropping strikes. Barcelona dominating with strikes here. Barcelona punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barcelona controlling from mount. A nice elbow there by Barcelona. Barcelona sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barcelona in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Barcelona is landing with some decent strikes but Harris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barcelona tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chester Barcelona dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Harris's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Barcelona shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Harris is looking to get back to is feet but Barcelona passes into side control.
Harris gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Barcelona cracks Harris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Frank Harris's cut even more. Chester Barcelona overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barcelona controlling the position easily from mount. Barcelona with good strikes from the mount here!
Harris is rocked!
The cut above Frank Harris's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
