The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olaf tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Do Santos wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Olaf fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Olaf looks to move away, Do Santos throws a big counter combo but Olaf just gets out of the way.
Do Santos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

We've been hearing reports that Do Santos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Do Santos closes the distance and clinches up with Olaf, looking for a takedown. Do Santos pushes Olaf against the cage but Olaf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Olaf steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Do Santos .

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Do Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Olaf tries to sprawl out of it but Do Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Olaf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Olaf wants to counter with a clinch but Do Santos pushes him away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Libio Do Santos . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Olaf gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Olaf is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Do Santos drops back looking for a leg! Olaf is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Olaf manages to kick Do Santos off! Do Santos jumps back into Olaf's guard.

Do Santos 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Do Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Olaf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Do Santos throwing strikes from guard but Olaf blocks nicely.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Do Santos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Do Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by Olaf.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Olaf enables Do Santos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Olaf manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Do Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Do Santos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Olaf's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Do Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Olaf defends well and Do Santos ends up having to push Olaf into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Do Santos is staying active underneath Olaf, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Do Santos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Olaf's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Olaf's back!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Do Santos has got one arm under Olaf's chin. This could be trouble... Olaf trying to control the other hand but Do Santos gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Olaf has tapped out! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Libio Do Santos thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
