The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerenzikov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trevis as he avoids it easily.
Kerenzikov throws a hook but Trevis blocks it.
Kerenzikov takes a swing at Trevis's ribcage but misses.
Kerenzikov throws a right and a left that Trevis avoids nicely.
Trevis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Argivas Kerenzikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kerenzikov or perhaps it was just good defense by Trevis, which made it look bad.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kerenzikov enables Trevis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kerenzikov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
