Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Williamson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carollinus Satanae! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williamson fails with the takedown and Satanae holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Williamson tries to score a body lock takedown but Satanae shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Satanae lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Carl Williamson has been cut. Williamson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Satanae is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Williamson. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Satanae. Williamson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Satanae fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Williamson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Satanae's waist but Satanae gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williamson off to one side. Williamson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kung Fu Fighting Club ($40 entry fee) in the buildup to the fight. Satanae looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Satanae stalling away here and it's allowed Williamson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Satanae trying to control but Williamson is working from the bottom. That's one minute gone in the round. Satanae working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Satanae wants to control from the top but Williamson keeps moving. Satanae has gone for a leg lock! Williamson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Satanae's guard.
Williamson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Satanae wants to sweep here but Williamson controlling him for the moment. Satanae should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Williamson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Satanae has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williamson has managed to get both his arms back between Satanae's legs - danger averted. Satanae has momentary wrist control but Williamson slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Satanae wants to get back to his feet but Williamson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Williamson scoring with punches to the head and body. Satanae throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

He's being very persistent here but Satanae manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Williamson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Satanae stands and steps away. Williamson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Satanae misses with a combination
and Williamson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Satanae is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Williamson misses with a head shot. Satanae uses the momentum to regain guard. Williamson throws a big elbow that misses. Satanae is looking to stand up but Williamson isn't so interested in that idea. Satanae trying to control the position.

Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williamson uses from the top position. That's going to take a lot out of him. Satanae looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Satanae wants to take a breather but Williamson is having none of it. Williamson shoots in for a takedown but Satanae shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Satanae throws a nice looking combination but Williamson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Satanae feints and as Williamson raises his hands in defense, Satanae changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Williamson keeping moving, preventing Satanae from controlling successfully. Satanae slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Satanae has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Satanae feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Satanae gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Williamson.
Satanae's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carollinus Satanae showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Carl Williamson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Williamson shoots for a double leg takedown but Satanae sprawls well. He's pushed Williamson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Satanae looks to land a combination but Williamson avoids it well. Satanae misses with the combination.

Satanae is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Williamson throws an elbow that misses. Satanae uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Williamson's guard. Nice move by Satanae! Satanae trying to control the position from guard on top but Williamson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Satanae's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Satanae controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Williamson keeping moving, preventing Satanae from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williamson pulls Satanae in close to his closed guard and prevents Satanae from doing any damage or advancing position. Satanae throws a big elbow that misses. Satanae wants to control from the top but Williamson keeps moving. Williamson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Satanae in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Satanae is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williamson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Satanae manages to avoid it. Satanae drives through with a takedown into Williamson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Satanae decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Williamson, up you get! Satanae closes the distance and clinches. Williamson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Satanae is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Williamson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Satanae landing some nice looking knees to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Carollinus Satanae comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Satanae has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
