PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Callum Tweedie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Caholic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tweedie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Snow Patrol - Chocolate. Callum Tweedie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caholic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Caholic shoots in for a double leg but Tweedie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tweedie wants to land a leg kick but Caholic is out of range.
Tweedie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Caholic closes the distance and clinches up with Tweedie, looking for a takedown. Caholic pushes Tweedie against the cage but Tweedie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tweedie feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Tweedie moves into the clinch successfully.
Caholic is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tweedie pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Callum Tweedie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Caholic.

Caholic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tweedie is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tweedie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Caholic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like Al Caholic has been cut.
Caholic chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tweedie can pounce on him.
Tweedie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tweedie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Caholic defends it nicely.

Caholic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tweedie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Caholic, into his guard.
