The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gunn gets the takedown into side control.
An elbow from Gunn crashes against the mat.
The strikes coming from Gunn are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Gunn goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Besson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gunn but great work by Besson.
Gunn can't do much from the bottom here.
Gunn prevents Besson from improving position.
You can see the frustration on Gunn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Besson controls the position from side control.
Besson taking a break here but Gunn is having none of it and regains half guard.

Gunn manages to get to full guard.
Besson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gunn's head.
Gunn looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Besson has picked Gunn up and slammed him! Gunn can't keep hold of the triangle and Besson manages to pass to side control!
Gunn wants to control but Besson postures up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gunn wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Besson seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Gunn is tapping! Wow, great finish!
