Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benny Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Swebsik Swebster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swebsik Swebster has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Benny Perez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benny Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Swebsik Swebster! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez dodges the punch combination from Swebster.
Swebster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Perez's half guard. Swebster seems to be looking for submissions.
Swebster looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Swebster is pressing down on Perez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Perez is holding on for now. Swebster takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez wants to control the action here but instead Swebster manages to pass to full mount! Swebster throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez manages to regain half guard. Good work. Perez trying to control from the bottom.
Swebster uses his free foot to push down on Perez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perez. Swebster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Perez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Perez shrugs it off. Swebster with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Perez tries to hold on but Swebster pushes him away. Swebster wants to get back to his feet but Perez is holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swebster fails to take his opponent's back. Swebster is still trying to improve position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Swebster cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Swebster swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Perez is now in Swebster's guard. A big mistake from Swebster there, giving up the dominant position! Perez trying to control the position from guard on top but Swebster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Perez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Swebster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Swebster has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swebster wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving. Swebster drops back, looking for a kneebar! Perez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Perez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Perez!
Perez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Swebster is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Swebster struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Swebster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Perez was covering up waiting for the punch and Swebster finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perez is trying to control the position but Swebster postures up. Swebsik Swebster has got the better of the ground game so far. Perez keeping moving, preventing Swebster from controlling successfully. Swebster might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Perez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Perez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Swebster has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez is looking to pass into half guard but Swebster pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Swebster is in guard. Swebster works over Perez with some ground and pound from guard. Swebster wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position. Swebster lands a couple of elbows. Swebster working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Perez has his foot on Swebster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Swebster works his way back into a safe position though. Swebster loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Swebster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez controls Swebster momentarily but Swebster frees himself. Swebster trying to control the position from guard on top but Perez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Swebster seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Swebster wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving. Swebster is looking to work some ground and pound but Perez has wrist control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Swebster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Swebster tries to move to mount but Perez blocks the move with his legs. Swebster has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Perez! Swebster landing shots from mount. Swebster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Perez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Perez shrugs it off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Swebster trying to control but Perez is having none of it. Swebster takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Swebsik Swebster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Perez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swebster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Swebster throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Perez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Perez showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Perez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Perez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Swebster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Perez. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Perez is looking for a kimura here.
Perez seems to be working for a kimura but Swebster defends the submission attempt. Swebster is trying to control but can't.
Perez is just content to waste time from the top position. Swebster takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Swebster keeping full guard, as Perez tries to pass. Swebster scores with a short punch from the bottom. Perez trying to move into half guard but instead Swebster has managed to sweep!

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Swebster! Swebster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Perez has escaped the position, nice work there. Swebster is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Swebster throws a strike aimed at the side of Perez's head but Perez avoids it well. Swebster is trying to get an arm triangle but Perez is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Benny Perez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
