Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Boket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Kataguri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill Boket! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yuri Kataguri! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kataguri throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Boket is looking to clinch. Kataguri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kataguri showed some decent athleticism there. Kataguri looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Boket is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kataguri keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kataguri's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boket blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kataguri.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kataguri is pressing down on Boket's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boket is holding on for now. Well, if Kataguri is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Boket is looking to improve his position.
Kataguri takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kataguri wants to stand up but Boket is controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kataguri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Boket doesn't manage to clinch there - Kataguri circles away.
Despite the aggression on Kataguri's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Boket really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boket darts in looking for a takedown but Kataguri gets double underhooks and turns Boket into the cage. Boket swings away with a leg kick that misses. Kataguri circles away from the clinch attempt and Kataguri counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Boket kicks Kataguri off and gets back to his feet. Boket looks to land a body kick but Kataguri moved away. Kataguri blocks a head kick by Boket.
Kataguri closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boket's guard. Kataguri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kataguri postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kataguri with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kataguri passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kataguri tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kataguri thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Boket manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boket is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kataguri has managed to free his arm - good work. Kataguri looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kataguri is not content to let Boket control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kataguri is concentrating on defense, preventing Boket from advancing position. Kataguri actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yuri Kataguri will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kataguri throws a head kick that misses. Kataguri rushes Boket and presses him up against the cage. Kataguri jumps guard.
Kataguri has his hands on Boket's head, controlling the position. Boket slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boket stopping the sweep attempt from Kataguri. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boket passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boket will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kataguri is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Boket is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Boket prevents Kataguri from getting the reversal. Boket throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Boket can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kataguri is looking to escape. Boket throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kataguri can do anything to dispel that myth. Boket punching from mount but Kataguri doing a good job of avoiding damage. Boket trying to control but Kataguri is having none of it. Kataguri tries to lock up and control but Boket gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kataguri avoids a strike by Boket and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Boket's guard! Fantastic escape!

Boket has a closed guard, preventing Kataguri from standing up. Boket looking for a sweep. Not yet Boket, not yet. Kataguri is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kataguri working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Boket's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boket throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Boket manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Boket dives in for a single leg takedown but Kataguri sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boket tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kataguri manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boket closes the distance looking to clinch and Kataguri counters with a nice double leg into guard. Boket trying to keep a closed guard but Kataguri is proving a slippery customer.
Kataguri wanted to stand there but Boket had control of the position. Kataguri looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Yuri Kataguri has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kataguri tries to stand but Boket is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boket looking for a sweep. Not yet Boket, not yet. Kataguri must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kataguri pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boket is keeping the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kataguri controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kataguri slaps away a takedown attempt from Boket, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bill Boket is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kataguri shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boket but Boket pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kataguri feints and as Boket raises his hands in defense, Kataguri changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boket looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kataguri is one step ahead there. Kataguri's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boket is trying to keep Kataguri in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kataguri scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kataguri pushes down on Boket's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kataguri is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boket defends it well. Kataguri is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boket wants to control but Kataguri is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boket is looking for a sweep. Kataguri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boket is trying to control but can't.
Kataguri wants to stand but Boket has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kataguri drives through with a takedown into guard. Boket has a closed guard, preventing Kataguri from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kataguri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kataguri passes Boket's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kataguri is thwarting Boket's attempts to control the position. Boket is looking to escape. Kataguri is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kataguri keeps the fight on the outside. Kataguri wants to counter with a clinch but Boket pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kataguri blocks the body kick.
Kataguri shoots in and drives through. Boket sprawls well. Bill Boket has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yuri Kataguri is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A low kick from Boket misses and Kataguri counters with a single leg into guard. Boket didn't expect that.
And that's the end of the fight! Yuri Kataguri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kataguri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
