The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Assjacker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Franco clinches up with Assjacker and pushes him back against the cage.
Franco jumps guard and drags Assjacker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Franco manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Franco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Assjacker tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Franco holds on and takes a little breather.

Assjacker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Franco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Franco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Assjacker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Assjacker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Assjacker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Franco clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Franco is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.

Assjacker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Assjacker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
