Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malago Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Severn is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Severn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Charles's best efforts.
Charles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Severn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Severn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Charles pulls his head out easily.

Severn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Charles is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Severn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Charles's back instead.
Severn is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Charles knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Charles for a finish.
You can see the frustration on Charles's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Severn is not going to allow Charles to sit and survive in this position.
Severn is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Charles has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Severn is trying to stick to Charles's back but Charles is turning into Severn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Severn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Charles.

That was a close second round but I would say that Malago Charles will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
