Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Barklong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Barklong! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barklong cracks the inside of Cooper's front leg. Barklong slaps away a takedown attempt from Cooper, before circling back to the center of the mat. A punch combination from Barklong misses. Cooper tries to clinch but Barklong is having none of it. Barklong throws a counter combo. Barklong shoots in but no luck this time. Cooper tries to counter by clinching up but Barklong breaks away and moves out of range. Cooper shoots in but no luck this time. Barklong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barklong wants it to stay on the feet. Barklong tries to counter with a clinch but Cooper shakes him off and moves away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cooper dives in for a single leg takedown but Barklong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Barklong slaps away a takedown attempt from Cooper, before circling back to the center of the mat. Barklong throws a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooper tries to clinch there but Barklong circles away.

Cooper moves into the clinch. Barklong is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Cooper can't fight it off and eventually Barklong manages to take the fight to the floor. Cooper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cooper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cooper is looking to stand up but Barklong isn't so interested in that idea. Barklong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Barklong trying to control the position from guard on top but Cooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cooper wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Barklong is now in half guard. Cooper looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Barklong is looking to take a break and control but Cooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cooper wants to improve his position but Barklong is controlling well.
Cooper is looking to escape. Barklong perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barklong gets a takedown into half guard. Cooper trying to control from the bottom.
Cooper is pressing down on Barklong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Cooper throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Barklong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Barklong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Barklong has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at England Fight Club MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is trying to maintain the position but Barklong is very close to passing his half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cooper is looking to escape. Barklong is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cooper has managed to free his arm - good work. Barklong prevents Cooper from standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Barklong dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cooper shoots in looking for a takedown. Barklong tries to sprawl out of it but Cooper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Barklong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cooper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Barklong has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barklong lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Cooper has his takedown stuffed and Barklong counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cooper fails with a takedown attempt. Cooper on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barklong circles away from the clinch attempt and Barklong counters with a left and a right that stings Cooper. Barklong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cooper sprawls well initially but Barklong persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Barklong is taking a breather. Cooper says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Barklong is thwarting Cooper's attempts to control the position. Barklong prevents Cooper from improving his position. Cooper regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper working for a triangle but Barklong defends it easily.
Cooper controls Barklong momentarily but Barklong frees himself. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cooper wants to sweep here but Barklong controlling him for the moment. Cooper looking to control but Barklong passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barklong tries to pass to full mount but Cooper defends it. Barklong stalling away here and it's allowed Cooper to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cooper wants to stand up but Barklong is controlling him. Cooper keeping full guard, as Barklong tries to pass. Cooper is looking to stand up but Barklong isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cooper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cooper has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Barklong off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Cooper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cooper throws a left and a right that both miss
and Barklong counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cooper looks to throw an elbow but misses. Cooper has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Barklong is trying to keep an underhook but Cooper manages to get the takedown into half guard. Barklong has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Cooper is on him like a limpet, forcing Barklong back against the ropes. Barklong drags the fight down to the ground.
Cooper wants to control from the top but Barklong keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Barklong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Barklong shoots in looking for a takedown but Cooper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barklong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cooper wants to slow Barklong down by chopping away at his legs. Cooper doesn't manage to clinch there - Barklong circles away.

It looks like Leo Barklong has been cut. Leo Barklong seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cooper swats away the attempt to clinch by Barklong. Cooper changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Cooper closes the distance and clinches up with Barklong, looking for a takedown. Cooper pushes Barklong against the ropes but Barklong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. John Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cooper fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barklong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Barklong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barklong changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Cooper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Barklong moves into the clinch. Barklong manages to break the clinch.

Cooper tries to clinch but Barklong moves out of range. Barklong throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Barklong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Barklong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cooper throws a half hearted mid kick. Barklong darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Barklong is looking to take a break and control but Cooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cooper is looking to control Barklong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cooper avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper wants to control but Barklong passes into side.
Cooper wants to control but Barklong postures up. Cooper sneaks out the side door and pushes Barklong away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. No luck for Cooper with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barklong swats away the attempt to clinch by Cooper.

Cooper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Barklong pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Barklong shoots in for a takedown but Cooper shows good takedown defense. Barklong rushes Cooper and presses him up against the ropes. Barklong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cooper looks to clinch and Barklong counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Barklong. Cooper wants to sweep here but Barklong controlling him for the moment. Cooper working a defensive guard here.
Cooper is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cooper doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Leo Barklong. Well Barklong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
