Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ken Troy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sparky Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Troy, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Troy against the cage but Troy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Troy as he avoids it easily.
Troy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Sparky Jenkins has been cut.
Troy's corner calls for a 1-2. Troy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jenkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jenkins is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Troy Rushes Jenkins and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Jenkins is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Troy Piles on the pressure and Jenkins crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Troy!
