The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkinson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tupper was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilkinson.
Tupper takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wilkinson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wilkinson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
No joy there for Wilkinson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tupper is looking for a counter combo.
Wilkinson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tupper misses with a wild combination.
A little jabbing left from Wilkinson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tupper blocks a jab.
Tupper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tupper doesn't manage to clinch there - Wilkinson circles away.
Wilkinson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tupper tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkinson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilkinson keeps the fight on the outside.
Wilkinson throws out a loose jab but Tupper uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wilkinson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rashad Wilkinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupper tries to clinch there but Wilkinson circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

and Tupper counters with a three punch combo that has Wilkinson backing up. Wilkinson nods at Tupper to acknowledge the strikes.
Tupper moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Tupper is rocked!
Wilkinson fakes the body blow, causing Tupper to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Tupper goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
