Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ykong For! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dionte Brown! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! For misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brown.
Brown gets a clinch. Brown successfully pulls guard.
Brown uses the cage to get back to his feet.
For moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off. For tries to keep at a distance but Brown has taken the fight into the clinch. Brown cracks For with a nice body shot. For's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Brown breaks from the clinch.
For really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Brown closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. For did well to prevent Brown getting side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! For is trying to get back to full guard. For trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. For tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg. Brown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Brown is pressing down on For's thigh, looking to free his foot. For is holding on for now. Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks For with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. For is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. For on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Brown seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown cracks For with a big right hand and For goes down!

It looks like Ykong For has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. For has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Brown stands up from For's guard - Brown perhaps looking for a knockout. For fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brown is looking for the big counter here. Brown moves into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown managing to block the knees to the body from For.
Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Brown is pulling down on For's head. It's preventing any offense from For, at least for the moment. For wants to stand but Brown has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dionte Brown dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ykong For's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brown tries to bum rush For with a series of wild strikes but For uses good footwork to avoid the assault. For fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Brown tries to counter with a clinch but For shakes him off and moves away. Brown forces For back against the cage and clinches. Brown lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down For. Brown turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brown manages to end up in side control. Brown takes a little break here. For wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. For taking punishment in the form of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown scoring with punches from side control. For tries to bench press Brown off him but Brown keeps the position. For stops Brown from passing to mount. Brown taking a breather here. Dionte Brown has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. For gets back to half guard. Brown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown trying to control the pace. For is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown prevents For from improving his position. For is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can For avoid being mounted? Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Brown fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch. For drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brown gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brown has For pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. For manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. For is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Brown has picked For up - he's going for a ride! Brown dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. For trying to control here.
For wants to get back to full guard. Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dionte Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ykong For's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
For tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - For looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brown has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as For is landing a low percentage of strikes. Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming For to the mat! For manages to get full guard. Brown preventing the sweep. Brown chips away with some ground and pound. Brown preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but For is retaining full guard. For wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment. Brown decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on For, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown gets a clinch. Brown is working for takedown but For is calmly controlling the position for now. Brown avoiding damage.

Brown looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brown wants to get back to his feet but For is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with For. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. For passes Brown's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Brown is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. For thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. For tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Brown. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. For wants to take a breather but Brown is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. For fails in his attempt to clinch. Excellent takedown into side control there by For. For goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Brown has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for For but great work by Brown. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brown working away. Brown cracks For with a big right hand but For just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown decides to stand back up. Brown steps back and let's For get back to his feet. For fails with a takedown attempt. For tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Brown lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as For crumples to the floor! Brown milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
