Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman has chosen 21 Questions as his entrance music. Toby Coleman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DJ Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Toby Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman ducks under a wild hook from Bronson.
Coleman misses with a takedown attempt
and Bronson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Coleman lands a jab to Bronson's midsection.

Coleman drives through and clinches with Bronson against the cage.
Bronson is stalling here.
Coleman has had enough of the clinch but Bronson keeps him there for the moment.

Bronson keeps control of Coleman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Coleman tries to break the clinch but Bronson is controlling the position.

A frustrated look appears on Coleman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Coleman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Coleman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bronson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coleman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bronson manages to pass to side control.

Bronson is looking to take a break and control but Coleman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Coleman is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman is looking for a sweep. Bronson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bronson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Coleman reverses the position - he's now on top in Bronson's guard.

Bronson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bronson has his foot on Coleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coleman works his way back into a safe position though.

Bronson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Coleman throws a big elbow that misses.

Bronson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bronson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Coleman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Toby Coleman will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bronson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bronson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Coleman motions for Bronson to come forward. Coleman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bronson connects with a right hand. Coleman shakes it off.
Coleman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Coleman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bronson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

The referee is keeping an eye on Bronson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bronson throws a punch but it's blocked by Coleman.

Bronson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Bronson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

As Coleman tries to get set, Bronson tries to push him back and clinch up but Coleman manages to avoid the attempt.
Coleman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bronson but Bronson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Coleman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Coleman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Coleman throws a strike but Bronson manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Coleman tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
