Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deelip Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edmundo Chase has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmundo Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Deelip Singh!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Singh looks to move away, Chase throws a big counter combo but Singh just gets out of the way.

and Chase counters by clinching up.

Singh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chase clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Chase can't escape the position.
Singh just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Singh is looking for the choke from the back position but Chase is controlling his hands well.
Singh is looking to control Chase but Chase is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Can Chase hold on?! Singh is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Chase is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Singh has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Chase has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Singh is looking to control Chase but Chase is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chase can't escape the position.
Chase rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Chase could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Singh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Singh seems to be working for a kimura but Chase defends the submission attempt.

Singh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Chase tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Singh is trying to control the action in half guard but Chase is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Singh wants to stand but Chase has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Chase might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Singh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chase's guard.

Chase manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Singh manages to get himself to full guard.

Chase lands a couple of digs.
Chase is working Singh over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chase is one step ahead there.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chase would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Singh bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chase's head backwards.

Chase wants to sweep but no luck.
Singh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Singh lands a couple of elbows.

Chase is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Singh is aware though and is defending well.
Singh slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Chase had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Singh defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Singh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Chase escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Singh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chase is looking for a triangle but Singh pushes his legs off easily.

Singh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Singh wanted to stand there but Chase had control of the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Singh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chase napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Singh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Chase sneaks back into half guard.
Chase is pressing down on Singh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Chase is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Singh defends well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chase is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Chase is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chase prevents Singh from improving his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Singh manages to escape and get back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deelip Singh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Singh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chase doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Singh.

Singh is keen to just control but Chase is a slippery customer.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Singh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chase does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Edmundo Chase has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Deelip Singh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Deelip Singh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Singh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
