Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dante Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armand Agasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alastair comes to the cage accompanied by The End by Roadrunner United. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agasi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Alastair.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alastair, as that shot connected.

Agasi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Alastair to the mat! Alastair manages to get full guard.
Agasi thows a big elbow that misses.
Agasi lands a couple of elbows.
Alastair tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Alastair is trying to keep Agasi in close.
Agasi controls from within his opponent's guard.
Alastair keeping moving, preventing Agasi from controlling successfully.
Alastair bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Agasi's guard.

Alastair postures up in Agasi's guard and throws a big left but Agasi blocks it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Agasi shoots for a double leg takedown but Alastair sprawls well. He's pushed Agasi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Agasi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Dante Alastair has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Alastair is wriggling around trying to escape.
Agasi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Agasi wants to control the pace but Alastair is squirming around nicely.

Agasi connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Agasi has hold of Alastair's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Alastair manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Agasi wants to finish this one by submission but Alastair is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Agasi.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alastair wants to get back to full guard but Agasi has mounted him!
