The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lance tests ReConnor's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lance forces ReConnor back against the cage and clinches.
ReConnor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lance walks away with a smile on his face. ReConnor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lance swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by ReConnor.

ReConnor gets tackled into the cage by Lance. Lance maintains the clinch.
ReConnor fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Lance's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Lance lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of ReConnor backwards.

ReConnor misses with a takedown attempt - Lance sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

ReConnor looks winded!

Lance closes the distance and pushes ReConnor back into the cage.
Lance pushes ReConnor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lance lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lance is leaning against ReConnor and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

ReConnor tries to pull guard but Lance won't allow it.

Lance breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lance circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops ReConnor to the canvas! ReConnor doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lance keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
