PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sausage McMuffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes to the cage accompanied by Motörhead - You Better Run. McMuffin has chosen my chemical romance- Helena as his entrance music. Jack Mason has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sausage McMuffin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McMuffin backs up against the cage.
Mason avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mason displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McMuffin throws out the jab.
McMuffin tries for a takedown but Mason sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McMuffin lands a nice looking body shot.

Mason darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mason wants to control but McMuffin is keeping him busy.
Mason is thwarting McMuffin's attempts to control the position.
McMuffin regains full guard. Nicely done.

McMuffin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mason should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McMuffin has tightened it up now! Mason should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Sausage McMuffin gave a mention to Mizuko in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
