Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Tucon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaiser Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johny Tucon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaiser Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucon closes the distance and clinches.
Tucon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tucon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tucon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40 in the buildup to the fight.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tucon tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tucon to the ground. Tucon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tucon rushes Gracie and presses him up against the cage.

Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tucon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Johny Tucon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaiser Gracie.
Gracie is trying to force a seperation but Tucon has the dominant position.
Tucon lands an elbow inside that Gracie shrugs off.
Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gracie tries to keep at a distance but Tucon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tucon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tucon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

It looks like Kaiser Gracie has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tucon lands with a right to the head.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Gracie working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Gracie is trying to drag Tucon to the mat but Tucon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Gracie is trying to break the clinch but Tucon has him pressed against the cage.
Gracie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gracie stops Tucon from standing up.
Tucon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie trying to control but Tucon is working from the bottom.
Gracie pushing down on Tucon's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tucon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tucon is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tucon is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie is keen to just control but Tucon is a slippery customer.
Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tucon is not content to let Gracie control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tucon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kaiser Gracie!
