Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Sarevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Wise! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarevic shoots in and drives through. Wise sprawls well. Wise scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sarevic doesn't seem bothered though. Sarevic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wise lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sarevic or not. Wise can't find room to land a body shot as Sarevic controls the action.

Sarevic tries to pull guard but Wise holds him up against the cage and eventually Sarevic drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Sarevic. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wise lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wise gets underhooks to prevent Sarevic's takedown attempt.

Sarevic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wise just stands there and leans against the cage. Sarevic is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Wise pushes Sarevic back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Wise lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sarevic backwards. Wise lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Wise gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sarevic.

Sarevic wants to take the fight to the mat but Wise manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sarevic throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wise blocks it with crossed arms. Wise works on Sarevic's body with a couple of short punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Sarevic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wise avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wise. Wise looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wise lands a hook that snaps the head of Sarevic backwards. Wise lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sarevic backwards. Wise stops a takedown attempt from Sarevic.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wise working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Wise lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sarevic backwards. Wise works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Wise throws the left hand but Sarevic avoids the punch easily. Wise jabs Sarevic right on the nose. Sarevic blinks but takes it well. Ivan Sarevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wise lands with a big right hook that stumbles Sarevic - he's out on his feet here! Wise follows up with another monster hook that separates Sarevic from consciousness! Sarevic falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Wise stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
