Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Val Halla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thriller by Michael Jackson. Val Halla has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Gracie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Halla doesn't seem phased though.
Gracie connects with a crisp jab.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Gracie.
Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Halla's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gracie is nestled in close to Halla, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie is working for a kimura but Halla is defending it quite comfortably.
Halla on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Halla tries to get out of the position.

Gracie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Halla is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
