The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
EL UNICO darts in and clinches Rockstien up against the cage.
Rockstien drops down looking for an ankle pick but EL UNICO pulls his leg out and moves away.
No luck for Rockstien with that takedown attempt.
EL UNICO has closed the distance and engaged Rockstien in a clinch.
Rockstien tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. EL UNICO smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenerd Rockstien. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Rockstien or perhaps it was just good defense by EL UNICO which made him look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rockstien tries to pull guard but EL UNICO holds him up against the cage and eventually Rockstien drops back down to his feet.
Rockstien is fighting off a takedown attempt but EL UNICO is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rockstien to the mat. Rockstien regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
EL UNICO gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
EL UNICO misses with a series of wild punches.
EL UNICO wants to clinch up but Rockstien keeps it at a distance.
EL UNICO throws a head kick that misses.

TERRE EL UNICO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Rockstien, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rockstien tries to clinch there but EL UNICO circles away.

EL UNICO thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rockstien if he has to take too many more of those.
Rockstien shoots in looking for a takedown. EL UNICO tries to sprawl out of it but Rockstien keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. EL UNICO manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rockstien changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. EL UNICO tries to avoid it but Rockstien manages to keep hold of a leg and drag EL UNICO to the ground. EL UNICO escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rockstien tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rockstien fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rockstien feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockstien throws a big right hand that misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rockstien had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. EL UNICO is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rockstien Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take EL UNICO's back instead.
Rockstien is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Well EL UNICO has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
