Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Starfie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starfie cracks the inside of Harper's front leg.
Harper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Starfie as he jumps to the side.
Starfie feints the counter takedown.
Starfie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Harper's half guard.
Harper kicks off Starfie and gets to his feet.
Starfie closes the distance and clinches.
Starfie manages to break the clinch.
Starfie lands a jab to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Starfie takes the fight into the clinch.
Harper manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starfie gets to his feet. Harper looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Harper tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Starfie just stands there and leans against the cage.
Starfie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harper doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Starfie counters by clinching up.

Harper tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Starfie smiles and moves away.
Starfie drives through and clinches with Harper against the cage.
Harper drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Starfie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harper sprawls well initially but Starfie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Starfie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Harper has managed to free his arm - good work.
Well, if Starfie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Starfie wants to pass to mount but Harper is defending the position.

and Starfie moves into the clinch.

Harper is breathing heavily.
Harper jumps guard but Starfie stands there with Harper around his waist. Harper gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Harper tries to pull guard but Starfie holds him up against the cage and eventually Harper drops back down to his feet.
Starfie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harper shoots in looking for a takedown but Starfie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Harper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Starfie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harper, pushing him back against the cage.
Starfie makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lamar Harper's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Starfie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Starfie clinches with his opponent.
Starfie lands a nice uppercut.
Starfie manages to break the clinch.
Starfie with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control.
Harper is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Starfie content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Oh Harper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Starfie has an Americana. Harper didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Starfie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Starfie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
