Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Beat It. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikael Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Johnson! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson. Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnson blocks a jab. Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Jackson. Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson. Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Jackson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Westside Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A quick step to the side and Jackson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Johnson cracks Jackson with an open hand slap. Johnson misses with a straight left. Johnson misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Jackson is looking to counter punch. Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jackson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Johnson is looking to get back to full guard here but Jackson has managed to pass to side control instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jackson's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Jackson! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Johnson has tapped! This one is allllll over!
