The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O'Neil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Plouman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice takedown defense from O'Neil. No joy for Plouman on that attempt.
It looked like O'Neil wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Aidan O'Neil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Plouman.
Plouman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from O'Neil.
Plouman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
O'Neil is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Plouman slips a jab and a cross from O'Neil.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O'Neil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Plouman manages to avoid it.

O'Neil throws an uppercut from hell that sends Plouman clean off his feet! He's out cold! O'Neil stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
