Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Hope Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hope Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dmx The Rain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Hope Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clarence Morrow! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrow has a takedown stuffed. Morrow's coach down at !!!!!cheapest gym in rio!!!!!! elite coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Morrow's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Hope Jr takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Morrow clinches with his opponent.
Morrow jumps guard and drags Hope Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hope Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Morrow is retaining full guard. Morrow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hope Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morrow has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hope Jr wants to control from the top but Morrow keeps moving. Morrow has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hope Jr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Morrow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hope Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hope Jr being controlled here momentarily. Hope Jr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Morrow is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Morrow turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Morrow shoots in but no luck this time. Decent striking displayed by Hope Jr there.
It looks like Clarence Morrow has been cut. Billy Hope Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morrow shoots in looking for a takedown but Hope Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morrow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Billy Hope Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clarence Morrow. Morrow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hope Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hope Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morrow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Morrow stands up from Hope Jr's guard - Morrow perhaps looking for a knockout. Morrow throws a head kick that misses. Hope Jr is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Morrow shoots in and drives through. Hope Jr sprawls well. Morrow throws a nice outside leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A combination from Hope Jr does no damage. Hope Jr scores with a punch to the head. Morrow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hope Jr defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Clarence Morrow will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Clarence Morrow's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hope Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Morrow. Morrow gets slowly back to his feet. Morrow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hope Jr tries to avoid it but Morrow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hope Jr to the ground. Hope Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. It looked like Hope Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Hope Jr thuds his right hand into Morrow's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hope Jr avoids the head kick by Morrow.

Morrow jumps guard but Hope Jr turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Billy Hope Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clarence Morrow. Morrow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hope Jrs head. Hope Jr lands a left hand that snaps the head of Morrow backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hope Jr is trying to push Morrow away but Morrow has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A nice left hand lands by Morrow.

Hope Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morrow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hope Jr won't allow Morrow to sweep him here. Morrow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hope Jr is aware though and is defending well. Hope Jr stands up and waves to Morrow to follow him. Morrow fails to land the takedown. Hope Jr misses with a double jab
and Morrow counters with a single leg into guard. Hope Jr didn't expect that. Hope Jr is looking to stand up but Morrow isn't so interested in that idea. Morrow looking to sit in guard and control but Hope Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hope Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Morrow controls Hope Jr momentarily but Hope Jr frees himself. Morrow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hope Jr manages to get himself to full guard.

Hope Jr tries to kick Morrow off in order to stand up. Morrow Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Hope Jr tries to bench press Morrow off him but Morrow keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hope Jr is trying to buck Morrow off. Morrow working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Morrow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hope Jr keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morrow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hope Jr haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Hope Jr being controlled for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hope Jr wants to control but Morrow postures up. Morrow tries to advance to mount but Hope Jr denies him. Hope Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Morrow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morrow has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clarence Morrow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Clarence Morrow's cut. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hope Jr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hope Jr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Morrow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hope Jr as he jumps to the side. Hope Jr lands a jab to the nose. Hope Jr attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hope Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hope Jr with a jab. Billy Hope Jr is winning the standup battle so far. Morrow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hope Jr defends well and Morrow ends up having to push Hope Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Morrow gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That has opened up Clarence Morrow's cut even more. Morrow blocks a head kick by Hope Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hope Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Morrow.
Morrow fails with the takedown. Billy Hope Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clarence Morrow. Hope Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Morrow moves away. Hope Jr works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Morrow fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hope Jr sprawls well initially but Morrow persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Morrow uses his free foot to push down on Hope Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hope Jr. Hope Jr is in a horrible position here. Morrow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Morrow is continuing to stall. Hope Jr tries to improve his position but instead Morrow has taken his back!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Morrow. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Morrow cracks Hope Jr with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hope Jr from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Morrow connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Hope Jr to escape the position.
Morrow is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hope Jr defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. You can see the frustration on Hope Jr's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Billy Hope Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clarence Morrow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morrow has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hope Jr's body.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Clarence Morrow. I've got Morrow winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
