Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Writer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Maccino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Writer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Writer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Raul Maccino! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Maccino.
Maccino looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Writer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Maccino! Writer is working for a guillotine from mount but Maccino frees his head quite easily.
Maccino should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Writer looking to control but Maccino is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Writer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maccino looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Writer controlling his opponent. Writer punching from mount but Maccino doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Writer controlling from the full mount. Writer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Writer looking to control but Maccino is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Writer controlling from mount. Writer wants to finish this one by submission but Maccino is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Writer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Writer is working for a guillotine from mount but Maccino frees his head quite easily.
Maccino looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Writer controls the position. Maccino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Writer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Writer misses with an elbow to the head. Writer looking to hold on to the position here but Maccino rolls and ends up regaining guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Frank Writer just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Writer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Maccino throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Writer. Writer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Maccino tries for a takedown but Writer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Writer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maccino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Writer scores with punches from side control. Writer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The fight stays on the outside here - Maccino looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Writer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Writer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Maccino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Writer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Maccino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Writer is fending him off so far but Maccino persists. Nope, Writer circles away and we're back to standing. Writer clinches. Writer pulls Maccino into guard.
Writer looking for a guillotine here but Maccino defends easily.
Writer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Writer is pulling down on Maccino's head. It's preventing any offense from Maccino, at least for the moment. Maccino wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Writer's closed guard. He's half up but Writer has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Writer pivots and extends the arm, Maccino falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Writer! Well done that man!
