Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evan Payton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramses Xll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xll comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Karl Sanders - Rapture of the Empty Spaces kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ramses Xll will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Payton moves to clinch but Xll breaks away
and Xll counters with a straight right hand.
Payton misses with a straight right.
Xll digs a good hook to Payton's body.
Payton rushes Xll and presses him up against the cage.
Payton jumps guard but Xll stands there with Payton around his waist. Payton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Xll throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Payton on the side of the head.

and Xll makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Payton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Xll moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Payton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Xll's guard.

Xll is pawing at Payton, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Payton's nose. Payton is badly hurt! Xll pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Payton tries desperately to hold on but Xll is relentless in his assault! As Payton receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Xll away and this one is in the books!
