Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugo Wolf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugo Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Canadian Hero! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hero has closed the distance and engaged Wolf in a clinch.
Wolf blocks an uppercut.
Wolf blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hero throws a head punch that misses. Wolf tries for a takedown but Hero manages to get underhooks.
Hero prevents the takedown attempt.
Hero tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Wolf drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wolf has clasped his hands together around Hero's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Hero prevents Wolf from moving into mount. Wolf scoring with punches and elbows. Hero is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wolf connects with a decent elbow.
It looks like Canadian Hero has been cut. Wolf landing a few strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Wolf working the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hero manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hero not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wolf trying to control from the bottom.
Nice strikes from Hero there. Wolf trying to hold on to Hero's head to control him but Hero postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Wolf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hero's guard.
Hero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hero throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hero thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hero throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Hero doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hero trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hero trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Wolf lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hero throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Wolf scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hero is rocked! Wolf is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hero is still in real trouble! Can Wolf finish him? Wolf postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hero covers up, he's hurt! Wolf keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wolf and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wolf can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Wolf! Our winner, Hugo Wolf, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
