Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lennox Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lennox Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lennox Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Mason! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mason dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mason fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mason actively working from the bottom here. Mason is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mason avoid being mounted? Mason avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mason is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones works his way into side control. Mason is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Mason tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Mason trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Mason looks gassed! Mason looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ground and pound from Jones. Jones is taking a breather. Mason says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Mason tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Mason is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes. Jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jones scores with a takedown into Mason's guard. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jones tries to pass to full mount but Mason defends it. Jones prevents Mason from improving his position. Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ground and pound from Jones. Mason manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason looking for a sweep. Not yet Mason, not yet. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mason escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mason keeps the fight on the outside. Mason shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Lennox Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshall Mason. Mason keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Mason is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason trying to pass the guard but Jones defending well. Mason is working for a kimura here but Jones manages to reverse the position and he's now in Mason's guard.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jones is posturing up here but Mason has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jones tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jones has to tap! Slick submission there by Mason!
