Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boss Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boss Boxer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Robbie Carter's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robbie Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Boss Boxer! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively. Carter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carter has managed to clinch.
Boxer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Boxer prevents a takedown attempt there.
Boxer wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boxer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boxer is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxer is trying to push Carter away but Carter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Boxer has had enough of the clinch but Carter keeps him there for the moment. Carter is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boxer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbie Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter tries for a takedown but Boxer manages to get underhooks.
Boxer is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. Boxer wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boxer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boxer wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
Carter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boxer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boxer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carter misses the shot to the body. Carter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boxer's guard. Carter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Carter works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter trying to mount his opponent but Boxer defends it. Carter stalling. Carter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Carter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carter is looking for a kimura here.
Carter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Boxer defend it? Carter steps over the head and cranks it - Boxer is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Carter!
