Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Grayson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rickard Rakell! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rakell with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rakell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Rickard Rakell has been cut. Grayson misses with a hook. Rakell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grayson. Rakell tries to bum rush Grayson with a series of wild strikes but Grayson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rakell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Grayson sends Rakell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Grayson is motioning to the referee to let Rakell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rakell is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grayson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rakell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rakell is still on wobbly legs! Can Grayson finish him? Rakell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Grayson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rakell connects with a jab. Rakell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Grayson under the eye. Rakell slips a straight right by Grayson. Rakell seems to have recovered his senses. Rakell throws a jab but it's blocked by Grayson. Rakell swinging wildly here.

Rakell throws an overhand right that lands on Grayson's shoulder, as Grayson tries to avoid the shot. Rakell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakell lands a body shot.
Rakell works Grayson's body with a nice hook. Rakell has Grayson up against the cage in a clinch.
Grayson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Rakell. Those never looked like landing. Rakell slips under a jab. Rakell lands with a nice body punch. Grayson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rakell lands a two punch combo.
Rakell lands a jab to Grayson's midsection. Grayson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rakell. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rakell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jab by Rakell. Rakell takes one to the chin there. Nice uppercut lands for Rakell. That snapped Grayson's head back.
Grayson throws a good cross that connects.
Grayson connects with a nice looking jab.
Grayson throws a right hand that Rakell ducks under and follows up with a left that Rakell also avoids with ease. Rakell lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Grayson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Some wild striking there from Rakell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grayson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rakell. Grayson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rakell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rakell takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A jab from Grayson misses. BOOM! Grayson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Rakell. Rakell tries to recover but Grayson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Rakell lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
