Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Benjamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swick comes into the arena with The Offspring - Half Truism blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Watson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Benjamin. Those never looked like landing.
Benjamin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Benjamin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Swick counters with a straight right hand.
A combination from Benjamin does no damage.
Swick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Benjamin won't allow Swick to sweep him here.
Benjamin throws a big elbow that misses.
Benjamin is looking to work some ground and pound but Swick has wrist control.
Benjamin wants to control from the top but Swick keeps moving.
Swick wants to stand but Benjamin is controlling the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Benjamin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Swick counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Benjamin tightens his grip and picks Swick up, before dumping him to the ground. Swick manages to land in guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Benjamin working his ground and pound in the gym.

Benjamin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Swick's head.
Benjamin stands up over Swick, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benjamin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Benjamin connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Swick some visible discomfort.
Benjamin lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Swick is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Benjamin asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Swick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Swick tries to get out of the position.

Swick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benjamin on the ground.
Swick wants to get back to his feet but Benjamin drags him back down.
Swick is looking to regain half guard here but Benjamin keeps moving and retains side control.

It looks like Jon Swick has been cut.
Benjamin tries for a kimura but Swick is defending well.
Oh Swick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Benjamin cracks Swick with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Benjamin immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Swick is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Benjamin!
