Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Binse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 21 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urskilz slips under a jab. Urskilz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Urskilz's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Urskilz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Urskilz moves out of range as Binse strikes. Binse has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Aliens Only Spa in the buildup to the fight. Binse tries to land a leg kick but Urskilz saw it coming and moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Urskilz! But no joy. Binse scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Binse throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Urskilz misses with a low kick. A left lands for Urskilz. Binse connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Binse looks to land a left hand but Urskilz moved out of range nicely. Binse lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Urskilz connects with an inside leg kick. Binse shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Urskilz napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Binse working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urskilz parries the strikes from Binse easily there. Binse is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Urskilz to escape.

Urskilz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Urskilz is pulling down on Binse's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Binse throwing strikes from guard but Urskilz blocks nicely. Urskilz is pulling down on Binse's head. It's preventing any offense from Binse, at least for the moment. Urskilz keeping moving, preventing Binse from controlling successfully. Binse working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Urskilz's head. Binse trying to control but Urskilz is working from the bottom. Binse throwing strikes from guard but Urskilz blocks nicely. Binse trying to control the position from guard on top but Urskilz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Urskilz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Binse.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Binse throws a big elbow that misses. Urskilz trying to control the position here. Binse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Urskilz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Binse throws a big elbow that misses. Binse stands up over Urskilz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Urskilz looking for a sweep. Not yet Urskilz, not yet. Binse postures up in Urskilz's guard and throws a big left but Urskilz blocks it. Urskilz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Urskilz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Binse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Urskilz has Binse pulled in close to control his posture. Binse wants to control from the top but Urskilz keeps moving. Binse is in close to Urskilz's body, working some short punches and elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Urskilz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Binse is working Urskilz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Urskilz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Binse accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Binse dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Urskilz throws a hook but Binse avoids it easily. Urskilz throws a leg kick that misses. Binse is looking to counter punch. Binse misses with a body kick. Urskilz throws a looping overhand right but Binse ducks down to avoid it. Binse tries to counter with a takedown but Urskilz is quick to defend against it. Urskilz is looking to slow Binse down with leg kicks. Binse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little jabbing left from Urskilz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A decent looking cross lands there for Binse. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Urskilz, right into the meat.
Christopher Binse is winning the standup battle so far. Urskilz connects with a body shot that sends Binse's belly button to the back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Urskilz avoids the head kick by Binse.
It seemed like Urskilz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Urskilz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Urskilz throws a low kick, looking for Binse's leg but Binse calmly moves out of range. A swing and a miss from Binse.
That's one minute gone in the round. Binse throws a looping overhand right but Urskilz ducks down to avoid it. Binse is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Urskilz can do to turn this around? Binse throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Urskilz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sloppy strikes from Urskilz. Those never looked like landing. Donk. Urskilz catches Binse right on the button with a cross. Urskilz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Binse. It seemed like Urskilz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Binse on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Urskilz. Urskilz obviously looking to wear him down.
Binse lands a lovely overhand right. Urskilz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Binse throws an off balance right hand
and Urskilz counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Christopher Binse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urskilz misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Binse throws a nice outside leg kick. Jab by Binse. Urskilz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Binse's calf. Binse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Binse throwing strikes but missing. Binse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Urskilz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Binse manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Urskilz with a flurry of punches that miss. Urskilz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Urskilz won't allow Binse to sweep him here. Urskilz is looking to work some ground and pound but Binse has wrist control. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Binse holds on and takes a little breather. Christopher Binse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Binse tries to land a sweep but no joy. Binse is trying to control the position but Urskilz postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Urskilz trying to control the position from guard on top but Binse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Binse pulls Urskilz in close to prevent any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Urskilz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A telegraphed right hand from Urskilz misses the target. Binse throws a poor cross that misses
and Urskilz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Urskilz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Urskilz slips a straight right by Binse. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ilafat Urskilz will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Urskilz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A slow jab from Binse misses its intended target. Urskilz now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Urskilz drops his hands momentarily and Binse takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Binse bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Urskilz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A jab from Urskilz misses. Binse throws out a loose jab but Urskilz uses good head movement to avoid it. Urskilz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Binse. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Urskilz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Binse pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Binse lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Binse misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urskilz connects with a jab. Urskilz with a jab. Binse looks to land a right hand but Urskilz moved out of range. Binse scores with a body shot.
Binse throws a looping overhand right but Urskilz ducks down to avoid it. Urskilz throws a leg kick but Binse checks it. Binse misses with a takedown and Urskilz counters with a crisp right that sends Binse to the canvas! Urskilz follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
