Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
83 - 48 - 7, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Captain Boromir! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Bomb misses. Bomb looks to land a body kick but Boromir moved away. Bomb takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bomb takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Boromir moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Bomb scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bomb bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bomb lands a nice looking body kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Bomb. Bomb is looking to score with low kicks. Bomb swings for the body but Boromir moves out of range.
Bomb walks into a stiff left hand from Boromir. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boromir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We've been informed that Boromir has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A big right from Boromir misses. Bomb looks for the body kick but Boromir saw that one coming. Boromir tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bomb scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomb lands with a nice body kick. Boromir is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bomb moves out of range as Boromir strikes. Boromir throws out a loose jab but Bomb uses good head movement to avoid it. Bomb attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Boromir ducks right into an uppercut from Bomb. Bomb tries to land a front kick but Boromir steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Boromir loads up on a big right hand but Bomb slips the punch. Bomb scores with the left hand. Boromir knows he should have avoided that one. Bomb scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Boromir throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bomb sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boromir misses with an uppercut
and Bomb counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boromir slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bomb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Boromir was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Bomb pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bomb displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boromir throws out the jab. Nice defenses there by Bomb. Boromir throws a lazy uppercut
and Bomb counters with a nice kick to the body. Bomb throws an off balance right hand
and Boromir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bomb ducks under a wild hook from Boromir. Boromir might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Bomb scores with a sloppy right hand. Boromir should have avoided that one. Bomb attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Boromir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bomb. That one must have hurt. Boromir misses with a straight left. Boromir has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boromir there as he acknowledges the shot. Bomb misses the jab. Boromir swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Boromir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bomb looks to land a body kick but Boromir moved away. Boromir misses with a right hand and Bomb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bomb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boromir was well out of range. Poor timing from Bomb. Bomb slips a jab from Boromir.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boromir has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bomb finds it's way round the side to connect with Boromir's head. Bomb throws a head kick that Boromir semi-blocks.
Bomb uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boromir. Bomb takes one on the button. Boromir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bomb throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boromir on the side of the head. Good standup being displayed there by Boromir as he connects with a hook. Boromir on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bomb. Bomb obviously looking to wear him down.
Bomb lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bomb ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bomb is looking to counter with a body kick. Boromir throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Bomb to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bomb throws a push kick but Boromir slaps the foot to one side. Boromir looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bomb slips a straight right by Boromir. A head kick from Bomb lands but Boromir takes it in his stride. Bomb delivers a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bomb takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bomb takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bomb thuds his right hand into Boromir's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Boromir with a jab. The fighters circling - Boromir throws out the jab but it was never going to land. An attempted straight right counter from Bomb misses the target. Bomb lands a head shot. A slow jab from Boromir misses its intended target. Bomb throws a quick counter kick to the body but Boromir avoids it. Bomb slips a straight right by Boromir. Bomb throws a leg kick which misses Boromir's front leg but catches the back leg as Boromir tries to avoid it. Bomb misses with a head kick.
Boromir lands with an overhand left. Bomb connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bomb goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Bomb uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boromir. As Boromir backs away, Bomb returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Boromir moves out of range of the strikes. Bomb is looking to land body kicks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bomb dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bomb looks for the body kick but Boromir saw that one coming. Boromir takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Bomb counters with a low kick, right behind Boromir 's knee. Boromir lands a glancing blow to the side of Bomb's head. Bomb throws the kick towards the body but Boromir avoids it. Bomb keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boromir. Boromir keeps the fight on the outside. Bomb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boromir can do to turn this around? Boromir moves forwards but Bomb connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bomb throws a push kick but Boromir slaps the foot to one side. Bomb tests Boromir's chin there with a solid looking shot. Boromir moves out of range of the body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boromir moves out of range of the strikes. Boromir sizes up Bomb with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bomb throws a lazy body kick and Boromir counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab lands there for Boromir.
Bomb is rocked! BOOM! Boromir lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bomb. Bomb tries to recover but Boromir is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bomb lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Captain Boromir! Captain Boromir was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
