Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smash Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Besson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luc Besson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Besson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Punch swivels and escapes.
Besson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Luc Besson has been cut.
Besson looks winded!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Punch.
Punch dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smash Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punch clinches with his opponent.
Punch is trying to break the clinch but Besson has him pressed against the cage.
Besson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Punch to keep the fight standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smash Punch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luc Besson.

Punch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Besson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Punch.
Besson goes for a double leg but Punch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Punch continues to drive forward.
Punch drops Besson with a beautiful combination! Besson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Punch is looking for the KO!
Besson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Punch wobbles Besson with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Punch dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Besson to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Smash Punch!
During a confident post fight interview, Smash Punch thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
