The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolittle circles away from the clinch attempt.
Doolittle throws a shot from downtown. Hardy moves away and avoids it.
Hardy steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Doolittle.
Stan Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy tries to clinch but Doolittle moves out of range.
Doolittle swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hardy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hardy wants to clinch up but Doolittle keeps it at a distance.
Hardy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

enabling Doolittle to counter with a crisp jab.

Hardy stuns Doolittle with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hardy throws a looping overhand right but Doolittle ducks down to avoid it.

and Hardy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hardy throws a body punch but Doolittle moves out of range.
Doolittle was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Hardy scores with a jab. Doolittle acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Doolittle misses with an uppercut
and Hardy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hardy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Doolittle thinks about countering with a head kick.
Hardy throws a hook but Doolittle blocks it.
It appears Doolittle was looking to counter with a kick there.
Doolittle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Doolittle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hardy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Doolittle scrambles back to his feet.
Hardy misses with a series of wild punches.
Hardy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doolittle on the side of the head.
Hardy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doolittle.
Doolittle connects with a looping right hand.
Doolittle thumps Hardy with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doolittle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Hardy is rocked!
Doolittle throws a pinpoint strike between Hardy's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hardy crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Doolittle scores a great knockout victory!
