Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lane Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jew Geesu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lane Larson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jew Geesu! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Larson working Geesu over with strikes. Larson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Larson is taking a breather. Geesu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Larson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Larson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larson working Geesu over with strikes. Geesu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Geesu. Geesu looking for a sweep. Not yet Geesu, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Geesu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Larson controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larson postures up in Geesu's guard and throws a big left but Geesu blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larson stands up over Geesu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Larson prevents Geesu from getting back to his feet. Geesu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Larson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Geesu throws up his legs and catches Larson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Larson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Geesu! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jew Geesu!
