Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Arnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randolph is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Engine no 9. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dudley Arnett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Randolph! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arnett rushes Randolph and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Randolph. Arnett tries for a takedown but Randolph manages to get underhooks.
Arnett goes for a takedown in the clinch but Randolph prevents it.
Arnett is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dudley Arnett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Randolph stalling in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arnett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Randolph swivels and escapes. Arnett tries to keep at a distance but Randolph has taken the fight into the clinch. Arnett prevents Randolph from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arnett turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Randolph is looking to reverse the position. We've been hearing that Arnett has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Randolph struggling a bit here. Arnett working the head and body with strikes. Arnett just content to control the position. Arnett wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randolph keeps working. Arnett happy to just control the position for now. Arnett thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randolph wants to control but Arnett postures up. Arnett lands a few punches from side control. Arnett tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Arnett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Randolph is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randolph trying to remain calm as Arnett controls from the top position. Randolph wants to control but Arnett postures up. Arnett is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Randolph tries to bench press Arnett off him but Arnett keeps the position. A lull in the action here as Arnett stalls from top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Arnett fails with a takedown attempt. And Randolph tries to counter it with a takedown but Arnett pushes his down on his head and steps out. Horrible takedown attempt by Arnett or perhaps it was just good defense by Randolph, which made it look bad. Randolph tries to close the distance and clinch but Arnett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Arnett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Randolph trying to control the position here. Arnett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Randolph is keeping the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Arnett controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arnett has Randolph up against the cage in a clinch.
Randolph is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Arnett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Arnett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Randolph pinned against the cage. Randolph gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randolph tries to clinch up but Arnett circles away and keeps his distance. Arnett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Randolph swivels and escapes. Arnett keeps the fight on the outside. Randolph darts in trying to clinch so Arnett counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Arnett here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arnett makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Arnett showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Arnett's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Arnett trying to control but Randolph is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Arnett is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Arnett is pushing down on Randolph's leg trying to pass to half guard. Randolph is fighting to maintain full guard but Arnett has managed to sneak the leg through. Randolph trying to hold on to Arnett's head to control him but Arnett postures up.
Arnett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Arnett seems content to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Randolph leaves Arnett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dudley Arnett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Randolph fails with a takedown attempt. Arnett closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Randolph to the mat! Randolph manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arnett controlling from the top position. Arnett has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Arnett is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Randolph can do to turn this around? Randolph throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Arnett advances to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dudley Arnett dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Randolph tries for a takedown but Arnett sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A counter left hand to the body from Arnett misses its target. Randolph tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Arnett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Arnett. A lull in the action here as Arnett stalls from top position. Randolph is not content to let Arnett control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arnett thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Randolph is letting Arnett control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randolph tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Arnett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Arnett controls the position. Arnett looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dudley Arnett overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Randolph is trying to control Arnett's posture but Arnett avoids it. Randolph is letting Arnett control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. You can see the frustration on Randolph's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Randolph being controlled for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Randolph gets caught flat footed, as Arnett shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Arnett lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Arnett sitting in guard here, content to control. Arnett might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randolph looking for a guillotine here but Arnett defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Arnett wants to pass the guard but Randolph is keeping the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Randolph working a defensive guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Randolph closes the distance and clinches. Arnett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Randolph tries to clinch up but Arnett circles away and keeps his distance. Arnett swats away the attempt to clinch by Randolph.
And that's the end of the fight! Dudley Arnett showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arnett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
