Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira tries to clinch but Malone moves out of range.
Ferreira fails with the takedown
and Malone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Malone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ferreira shoots in and bounces Malone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ferreira sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferreira advances position into side control!
Malone seems a little lost for a moment, as Ferreira dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferreira advances to full mount.
Malone working to try and regain half guard.
Malone has left one of his arms exposed and Ferreira doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Malone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
